Join now >The Cowboys are signing Michael Gallup to a five-year, $62.5-million deal, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Gallup is coming off a torn ACL, but Dallas wants to lock up the emerging wideout before free agency begins tomorrow and will now have him with the team for the next five seasons. The news comes on the heels of the franchise trading away Amari Cooper, but the Cowboys will clearly build the passing attack around CeeDee Lamb and Gallup. It wouldn’t be a surprise if Cedrick Wilson Jr. is also brought back as the No. 3 wideout, though we’ll see if they can afford to keep him; if not, a strong rookie class should allow Dallas to find a suitable complement for Lamb and Gallup. Assuming he is able to get healthy for the opener—which would be just over nine months removed from the torn ACL—Gallup should be an upside WR2/FLEX in 2022.

The Cardinals are signing Zach Ertz to a three-year deal, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Ertz is expected to be paid as a top-ten option at the position, so Arizona is committing to him as a significant part of the offense after last season’s acquisition. The team will now focus on the wide receiver corps around DeAndre Hopkins and Rondale Moore with Christian Kirk and A.J. Green hitting free agency.

The Bills have signed Isaiah McKenzie to a two-year deal.
McKenzie became a big-time factor down the stretch in 2021, and they’re keeping him ahead of free agency. Wide receiver should still be a need this offseason, but Gabriel Davis and McKenzie is a strong duo behind Stefon Diggs.
The Patriots placed a second-round tender on Jakobi Meyers.
This basically ensures that Meyers will not be going anywhere as a restricted free agent, as other teams are unlikely to part with a second-round pick for him. Meyers has gotten better by the year for the Patriots, and the 2019 undrafted player was a reliable target for Mac Jones last season. He paced New England with 83 receptions for 866 yards along with two touchdowns in 2021.
The Broncos signed Andrew Beck to a one-year deal.
Beck was going to be a restricted free agent, but Denver is bringing him back ahead of the legal tampering period tomorrow. Beck will be a versatile piece in Nathaniel Hackett’s offense, but he probably won’t be a fantasy factor in 2022.
