Darrell Henderson | Free Agent RB

Darrell Henderson (knee) has been activated from injured reserve.

Henderson will return for Super Bowl LVI, and he should see some snaps alongside Cam Akers and Sony Michel with Sean McVay saying they could ride the hot hand at running back. That said, it would be a surprise if the team didn’t end up leaning on Akers with Michel being the primary complement on Sunday.

Alvin Kamara | Saints RB

Alvin Kamara has been arrested for battery resulting in substantial bodily harm.

Kamara had an alleged incident at a Las Vegas nightclub that put a victim in the hospital, and he was arrested following the Pro Bowl today. The matter is still under investigation, but Kamara could be in deep trouble with law enforcement and/or the NFL depending on the outcome.

Jalen Hurts | Eagles QB

Jalen Hurts is undergoing ankle surgery.

Hurts’ ankle injury is worse than he let on after missing just one game and playing through it late in the season and into the playoffs, which isn’t surprising coming from a very tough player and great leader. NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports that Hurts is expected to be ready for the start of offseason training, which is good to hear. The former second-round pick will look to build off a strong 2021—totaling 26 touchdowns (ten rushing)—as he heads into his third year in the league.

Tyler Higbee | Rams TE

Tyler Higbee avoided a significant knee injury, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Rapoport says Higbee appears to have avoided significant damage to his knee after leaving yesterday’s game against the 49ers, but his status will be up in the air for Super Bowl LVI. Higbee will have two weeks to heal up as he looks to face the Bengals on February 13. The veteran tight end would probably do well to be a game-time decision heading into the Super Bowl.

Tyler Higbee | Rams TE

Tyler Higbee (knee) ruled out for the remainder of the game.

This isn’t a surprise based on how Higbee left the field in the first half. Kendall Blanton is the only tight end left on the active roster for Los Angeles.
