Fantasy News

Tony Pollard | Titans RB

Tony Pollard (foot) has been ruled out for Week 18.

Pollard is not traveling to Philadelphia for tomorrow night’s game against the Eagles, as the team is presumably getting him as healthy as possible for the start of the postseason. Pollard’s regular season ends with 130 carries for 719 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns along with 39 receptions for 337 receiving yards. The 24-year-old was a dynamic complement to Ezekiel Elliott in the Dallas backfield, and many were calling for him to be used more on offense. Pollard remains under contract with the Cowboys through next season.

Emmanuel Sanders | Free Agent WR

Emmanuel Sanders (knee) is officially doubtful for Week 18.

Probably with an eye toward the postseason, Sanders is likely to be out again for the regular season finale this Sunday. Expect the veteran receiver to be out against the Jets.

Rondale Moore | Vikings WR

Rondale Moore (ankle) will not play in Week 18.

Moore appears to be trending in the right direction with limited practices throughout this week, but the Cardinals might be playing things safe with the postseason coming up. Moore will have missed the final three games of the regular season. His rookie season ends with 54 receptions for 435 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown along with 18 carries for 76 rushing yards. The second-round pick showed flashes of heavy usage in Kliff Kingsbury’s offense, and we’ll see if he can get more consistent from a fantasy perspective in 2022.

Chase Edmonds | Free Agent RB

Chase Edmonds (ribs/toe) will not play in Week 18.

Edmonds is banged up and will miss the regular season finale against the Seahawks, but we’d think he’ll be good to go for the start of the postseason. Edmonds’ regular season ends with 116 carries for 592 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns along with 43 receptions for 311 receiving yards. The versatile running back again ran well (averaging 5.1 yards per carry) and was a strong piece in the Arizona offense, but James Conner’s outstanding touchdown-making season made it difficult for Edmonds to supply high-end fantasy value in 2021.

Lamar Jackson | Ravens QB

Lamar Jackson (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 18.

The Ravens still have a chance of making the postseason with a win and some help, but Jackson’s regular season is over. The dynamic quarterback missed the final four games (and five games overall) of the season while dealing with the bone bruise in his ankle. Jackson’s 2021 campaign ends with a 64.4% completion percentage, 2,882 passing yards, 16 passing touchdowns, 13 interceptions, 133 carries, 676 rushing yards, and two rushing touchdowns in 12 games. The former league MVP couldn’t make it three consecutive 1,000-yard rushing seasons thanks to injury, but he’ll obviously offer immense upside as a QB1 option in fantasy drafts this summer.
