Join now >The Steelers placed Diontae Johnson on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Johnson is now in jeopardy of missing this Sunday’s game at Baltimore. Hopefully the dynamic receiver is feeling OK and can get cleared soon for what will be Ben Roethlisberger’s final regular season game.
The Raiders activated Darren Waller from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Now, with a win-and-in game coming up to conclude Week 18 this Sunday night, we’ll see if Waller is healthy enough to play for Las Vegas. The star tight end has been out since Thanksgiving with his knee/leg injury.
Mohamed Sanu (knee) has been designated to return from injured reserve.
Sanu will hope to show enough to play this week and then into the postseason is San Francisco makes it. The veteran should rotate with Jauan Jennings and Trent Sherfield behind Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk.
The Broncos placed Teddy Bridgewater (concussion) on injured reserve.
This is not a surprise, and the Broncos will start Drew Lock again for the regular season finale this Saturday. Bridgewater’s 2021 ends with a 66.9 completion percentage, 3,052 passing yards, 18 passing touchdowns, and seven interceptions in 14 games. Denver is almost certainly heading in another direction at starting quarterback next season.
The Broncos activated Jerry Jeudy from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Jeudy is back after missing one game and will look to help the Broncos upset the Chiefs this Saturday. It’s been a disappointing year overall for the second-year receiver, but he’ll look to finish it strong in Week 18.
