Join now >The Cowboys designated Blake Jarwin (hip) for return.
Jarwin’s 21-day practice window is open, and he’s set to be activated either this week for the regular season finale or in the playoffs. If all goes well, Jarwin could be back for Saturday night at Philadelphia.
Mike Glennon is getting wrist surgery.
Glennon is obviously out for Week 18, so this ends his season. Glennon played in six games (four starts) for the Giants and threw four touchdowns compared to ten interceptions, but he was in a very tough spot on a bad team. Jake Fromm is set to start for the Giants against Washington this Sunday.
The Broncos promoted Seth Williams to the active roster.
Williams had his first career reception (a nice 34-yard catch down the right sideline) and impressed Broncos head coach Vic Fangio in yesterday’s loss to the Chargers, and the rookie receiver is up on the active roster again for the final game of the season. We liked Williams coming out of Auburn, and he’s someone to watch heading into the offseason. However, Denver locked up both Courtland Sutton and Tim Patrick with long-term contract extensions recently, so there doesn’t appear to be an obvious path to playing time for him in 2022 at the moment.
The Titans activated Julio Jones from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Jones missed last week while on the COVID list, but the Titans still beat the Dolphins, and the game off might have given the All-Pro more time to get his hamstring closer to full strength. Julio is expected to be out there for Week 18 with the No. 1 seed on the line for Tennessee.
The Lions activated Josh Reynolds from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Reynolds is eligible to play in the regular season finale this Sunday. However, with Amon-Ra St. Brown emerging as the top weapon at wide receiver for the Lions, Reynolds probably needs a touchdown to be a viable Week 18 fantasy option.
