Andy Dalton | Panthers QB

Andy Dalton will start in Week 17.

This feels weird after Nick Foles helped lead the Bears to a win at Seattle last week, but Matt Nagy is going with Dalton now that he’s back. Despite having a former Super Bowl MVP quarterback on the roster, Chicago has obviously been very high on Dalton since acquiring him this offseason.

Jerry Jeudy | Browns WR

Jerry Jeudy is being placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Jeudy is out for tomorrow’s Week 17 matchup against the Chargers. It’s a tough blow for the Broncos, and they will also be without pass rusher Bradley Chubb due to COVID. Hopefully Jeudy and Chubb are feeling OK and can return for the regular season finale next week.

Jordan Howard | Free Agent RB

Jordan Howard (stinger) is officially listed as questionable for Week 17.

Given that Howard dealt with what appear to be similar issues last season while missing a bunch of time, there is some serious doubt regarding his status for Sunday at Washington. But hopefully the power runner is good to go for an Eagles team that’ll be without Miles Sanders (hand). Howard’s status will be official late Sunday morning.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine | Dolphins WR

The Titans activated Nick Westbrook-Ikhine from the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Westbrook-Ikhine is now eligible to play against the Dolphins on Sunday, so he’ll miss no time while on the COVID list. The Titans are still waiting on Julio Jones to get cleared.

Mike Evans | Buccaneers WR

Mike Evans has been activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Evans is still dealing with a hamstring injury, but it sounds like he has a shot to return this week against the Jets. If so, you can probably assume he’s 100% since the team would be unlikely to risk his health for a game they can win without him with the playoffs just a couple of weeks away, which would put him in play as a borderline WR1 for Week 17.
