Pat Freiermuth (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 16.
This was unfortunately expected because it’s the rookie’s second concussion of the year, and Pittsburgh will rely on Zach Gentry as their top tight end this weekend. He can be a decent flier with the hopes for a score versus Kansas City.

Nick Foles will start for the Bears in Week 16.
Justin Fields (ankle) is a game-time decision and Andy Dalton (groin) has been ruled out, so the team is going with Foles against Seattle this weekend. The former Super Bowl MVP could be a boost to the pass-catcher of Chicago, and he’ll be a decent low-end QB2 with a chance to put up points if he catches fire.

Justin Fields (ankle) will not start in Week 16.
Fields is going to be a game-time decision, but at less than 100%, the Bears are opting for Nick Foles over the rookie. While we didn’t have Fields as a highly recommended play this week against an improved Seattle defense, anyone planning to start him will have to look elsewhere.

Andy Dalton (groin) ruled out for Week 16.
Dalton was a full participant in Thursday’s practice, so this is a surprise, and Nick Foles is set to start on Sunday with Justin Fields dealing with an ankle injury. It’s unfortunate that Dalton won’t get a chance to play again after playing well enough as the starter earlier this season.

The Saints are signing Blake Bortles.
Bortles will be the backup to rookie Ian Book on Monday night with Taysom Hill and Trevor Siemian both out with COVID-19. The former No. 3 overall pick was in a similar situation for the Packers earlier this season.
