Week 17 Fantasy Rankings

With a lot of teams locked into a playoff seed, Week 17 might get a little crazy. Stick with us for 2017 and beyond for the best fantasy news and analyis. Good luck this week!

QUARTERBACK

  1. Aaron Rodgers (@ DET)
  2. Tom Brady (@ MIA)
  3. Matt Ryan (vs NO)
  4. Drew Brees (@ ATL)
  5. Kirk Cousins (vs NYG)
  6. Russell Wilson (@ SF)
  7. Andrew Luck (vs JAC)
  8. Cam Newton (@ TB)
  9. Matthew Stafford (vs GB)
  10. Philip Rivers (vs KC)
  11. Sam Bradford (vs CHI)
  12. Alex Smith (@ SD)
  13. Jameis Winston (vs CAR)
  14. Carson Palmer (@ LA)
  15. E.J. Manuel (@ NYJ)

Aaron Rodgers gets the Lions in a battle for the NFC North crown, so he gets the edge over Tom Brady with more to play for… Matt Ryan and Drew Brees sounds like a shootout… Kirk Cousins and the Redskins need a win to make the playoffs, and the Giants don’t have much to play for as the #5 seed… Matthew Stafford and Sam Bradford are among the names to use for Big Ben, Carr, or Mariota owners… Philip Rivers and the Chargers will likely be playing their last game in San Diego this Sunday.

  38. Darren Sproles (vs DAL)
  39. Shaun Draughn (vs SEA)
  40. Terrance West (@ CIN)
  41. Jalen Richard (@ DEN)
  42. DeAndre Washington (@ DEN)

Maybe the Cardinals aren’t limiting David Johnson’s workload heading into 2017… The Saints will probably feed Mark Ingram again after he played great in last week’s win… Guys ahead of Ezekiel Elliot include Alfred Blue, Robert Kelley, Dion Lewis, Derrick Henry, and Kenneth Dixon. Even Todd Gurley and Elliott’s teammate Darren McFadden are ahead of him. Start him at your own risk… Spencer Ware is also a risky play as he deals with a rib injury… The same goes for Thomas Rawls and his shoulder injury… Some solid FLEX options include Devontae Booker, Zach Zenner, and Chris Ivory.

WIDE RECEIVER

  1. Jordy Nelson (@ DET)
  2. Julio Jones (vs NO)
  3. Sammy Watkins (@ NYJ)
  4. Ty Montgomery (@ DET)
  5. Mike Evans (vs CAR)
  6. Michael Thomas (@ ATL)
  7. T.Y. Hilton (vs JAC)
  8. Julian Edelman (@ MIA)
  9. Davante Adams (@ DET)
  10. Odell Beckham Jr. (@ WAS)
  11. Golden Tate (vs GB)
  12. Brandin Cooks (@ ATL)
  13. Doug Baldwin (@ SF)
  14. Allen Robinson (@ IND)
  15. Larry Fitzgerald (@ LA)
  16. Demaryius Thomas (vs OAK)
  17. Tyreek Hill (@ SD)
  18. DeAndre Hopkins (@ TEN)
  19. Steve Smith Sr. (@ CIN)
  20. Eli Rogers (vs CLE)
  21. Jeremy Maclin (@ SD)
  22. Tyrell Williams (vs KC)
  23. DeSean Jackson (vs NYG)
  24. Emmanuel Sanders (vs OAK)
  25. Adam Thielen (vs CHI)
  26. Jamison Crowder (vs NYG)
  27. Chris Hogan (@ MIA)
  28. J.J. Nelson (@ LA)
  29. Dez Bryant (@ PHI)
  30. Alshon Jeffery (@ MIN)
  31. Amari Cooper (@ DEN)
  32. Willie Snead (@ ATL)
  33. Marqise Lee (@ IND)
  34. Rishard Matthews (vs HOU)
  35. Jarvis Landry (vs NE)
  36. Dontrelle Inman (vs KC)
  37. DeVante Parker (vs NE)
  38. Corey Coleman (@ PIT)
  39. Michael Floyd (@ MIA)
  40. Cameron Meredith (@ MIN)
  41. Marvin Jones (vs GB)
  42. Pierre Garcon (vs NYG)
  43. Kelvin Benjamin (@ TB)
  44. Brandon LaFell (vs BAL)
  45. Ted Ginn Jr. (@ TB)
  46. Sterling Shepard (@ WAS)
  47. Randall Cobb (@ DET)
  48. Nelson Agholor (vs DAL)
  49. Michael Crabtree (@ DEN)
  50. Victor Cruz (@ WAS)

He somehow didn’t make the Pro Bowl, but Jordy Nelson is the #1 fantasy wide receiver this season… Julio Jones might not play a full compliment of snaps, but he might not need it… Sammy Watkins closes out the season with the Jets for the second straight season and would like a repeat performance from last season… The Steelers are probably going to rest a lot of guys, but Antonio Brown will likely try to convince the team to let him play… Odell Beckham Jr. is out of the top-10 with a matchup with his buddy Josh Norman; also, the Giants don’t have much to play for… Brandin Cooks is so low because he always struggles against Atlanta. All it takes is one play with him though… Could this be the end for Steve Smith Sr. and also Larry Fitzgerald? If so, they likely won’t go out quietly.

TIGHT END

  1. Travis Kelce (@ SD)
  2. Greg Olsen (@ TB)
  3. Zach Ertz (vs DAL)
  4. Jimmy Graham (@ SF)
  5. Antonio Gates (vs KC)
  6. Kyle Rudolph (vs CHI)
  7. Charles Clay (@ NYJ)
  8. Martellus Bennett (@ MIA)
  9. Jesse James (vs CLE)
  10. Delanie Walker (vs HOU)
  11. Vernon Davis (vs NYG)
  12. Cameron Brate (vs CAR)
  13. Eric Ebron (vs GB)
  14. Jared Cook (@ DET)
  15. Coby Fleener (@ ATL)

Travis Kelce has been unstoppable this season… Zach Ertz always has a big game to close out the season, and the Cowboys could have the backups in… Antonio Gates is going for the tight end touchdown record in potentially his final game… Charles Clay is on fire… If Ladarius Green (concussion) and Jesse James (rest) don’t play, Xavier Grimble could be in for a nice day against a Browns team that declines to defend tight ends.

DEFENSE

  1. Arizona Cardinals (@ LA)
  2. Minnesota Vikings (vs CHI)
  3. Seattle Seahawks (@ SF)
  4. New England Patriots (@ MIA)
  5. Denver Broncos (vs OAK)
  6. Baltimore Ravens (@ CIN)
  7. Buffalo Bills (@ NYJ)
  8. Houston Texans (@ TEN)
  9. Washington Redskins (vs NYG)
  10. Kansas City Chiefs (@ SD)
  11. Pittsburgh Steelers (vs CLE)
  12. Green Bay Packers (@ DET)

KICKER

  1. Justin Tucker (@ CIN)
  2. Stephen Goskowski (@ MIA)
  3. Adam Vinatieri (vs JAC)
  4. Matt Bryant (vs NO)
  5. Mason Crosby (@ DET)
  6. Stephen Hauschka (@ SF)
  7. Matt Prater (vs GB)
  8. Dan Bailey (@ PHI)
  9. Cairo Santos (@ SD)
  10. Graham Gano (@ TB)
  11. Will Lutz (@ ATL)
  12. Dustin Hopkins (vs NYG)
