Another lights out performance has Oklahoma’s senior leader steady atop the Heisman Watch. This Saturday, Mayfield and the Sooner go to Waco to face Baylor in what could be another game where Mayfield puts up huge numbers. Right now, he’s the clear early favorite—but there’s still a lot of football to be played.

Barkley continues to do damage on limited touches in Penn State blowouts, as he had four receptions for 142 yards and a touchdown against Georgia State last Saturday. His touchdown was an 85-yarder where it pretty much looked like he was a maxed-out player in a video game. Barkley and Penn State now travel to Iowa to face the Hawkeyes in primetime on ABC.

3. Mason Rudolph | Oklahoma State QB | Senior | Last week: 5
Despite throwing his first interception of the year, Mason Rudolph lit up Pittsburgh for nearly 500 yards and five touchdowns—while doing the majority of that damage (423 yards of it) in the first half. Not only is Rudolph a Heisman candidate, but he’s making a good showing for the next level.

There looks to be a resurgence in Eugne, and it’s being led by the high-scoring offense we’ve become used to seeing form Oregon. It’s impossible to keep Oregon’s offensive leader off the Heisman Watch, as he has over 150 rushing yards in each of the first three games and has nine touchdowns.

Though Jackson struggled some against Clemson on Saturday night in a game that could’ve vaulted both Louisville and his Heisman repeat chances, he still has monster number through three games against stiff competition. Clemson looks like they’re going to beat up on everyone this season, so Jackson shouldn’t be discredited because of this loss.
