Join now >The Bills are signing Stefon Diggs to a four-year extension.
Diggs had two years left on his deal, but the wide receiver market has exploded this offseason, and Buffalo is rewarding the star receiver for his play with a massive $104-million extension. Diggs has been an obvious difference-maker for an elite Bills squad over the past two seasons, and he’ll stay with the team and quarterback (and good friend) Josh Allen for the next several years.

The Saints are releasing Blake Bortles.
Bortles requested his release, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. This was fully expected to happen after the Saints added Andy Dalton to the quarterback room along with Jameis Winston. Bortles will look to land with another team with a shot at the No. 2 quarterback job someplace.

Frank Gore is officially retiring from the NFL.
Gore broke the news in a live stream with Bovada. The 38-year-old running back was out of the league last year despite showing he could still play with the Jets in 2020, and he’s officially going to call it a career and plans to sign a one-day contract with the 49ers at some point in the next few months. Gore’s tremendous 16-year career ends with 3,735 carries for 16,000 rushing yards and 81 rushing touchdowns along with 484 receptions for 3,985 receiving yards and 18 receiving touchdowns. He played ten seasons with the 49ers before three with the Colts, one with the Dolphins, one with the Bills, and one with the Jets. Gore’s 16,000 career rushing yards are third in NFL history, behind only Emmitt Smith and Walter Payton. There was, stupidly, some debate as to whether Gore should be a Hall of Fame a few years ago, but there is zero doubt that the reliable runner should and will be enshrined in Canton. Gore was also a class act and stayed out of trouble throughout his lengthy run in the NFL, and he was known as a great leader in the locker room. We wish him luck as he continues with life after football.

The Patriots are acquiring DeVante Parker.
Parker had been known as a player that was available for trade, but it’s surprising that Miami is dealing him within the division to New England. According to multiple reports, the Patriots are sending a 2023 third-round pick to the Dolphins for Parker and a 2022 fifth-rounder. Parker will give the Patriots some added size on the outside, and the team suddenly has a very deep receiving group, so we’ll see if more moves are made there at some point. The former first-round pick Parker just turned 29 earlier this year, and he has a 1,200-yard season under his belt from 2019.

Marlon Mack is signing with the Texans.
Mack is heading from Indy to Houston, and he will have a great opportunity to carve out a role if the team doesn’t spend an early pick on a running back. The veteran is still young having just turned 26 in early March.
