Strengths
Throws a beautiful ball. Stands tall and confidently climbs the pocket. Release is quick and smooth. Deadly on play-action passes. Shifts eyes from target-to-target and hits the open man. Throws with necessary touch. Has no problem getting the ball up and over linebackers in zone coverage. Deep ball is almost always on the money. Allows his receivers to make plays downfield. Hits targets in stride on in-breaking routes. Able to escape the pocket and square his shoulders to throw a strike. Will take a hit to allow more time for his receivers to run open. Good pocket awareness. Can keep drives alive with his legs.
Weaknesses
Ball placement needs improvement in tight coverage. Doesn’t have elite arm strength. Has trouble throwing accurately when running at full speed. Mechanics can cause overthrows. Wasn’t asked to make long sideline throws in college. Small hands could lead to fumbles.

Conclusion
Rudolph has been considered by many to be the sixth quarterback in a five-quarterback class, but he has the size, poise, experience, and touch to be a franchise signal-caller in the right system.
