Strengths
Flashes big-time accuracy to all levels of the field. Above-average arm strength. Quick, easy release. Scans the field as he moves through progressions. Excellent ball placement on throws to the perimeter. Hits receivers in stride on downfield passes. Great timing on back-shoulder fades. Doesn’t miss layups underneath. Knows when to use touch and when to throw a strike. Steps up in the pocket and keeps his eyes downfield. Good on-the-move accuracy. Layers with touch in between defenders. Sturdy frame. Has the power to convert short-yardage runs. Student of the game. Spends nearly two hours on the board every day.
Weaknesses
Upper-body throwing will lead to inconsistencies. Accuracy, anticipation, and ball placement needs improvement on intermediate throws over the middle. Anticipatory throws need improvement in general. Struggles throwing against pressure. Lacks mobility. Limited experience as a one year starter.
NFL comparison
Warren Moon – The comparison for Haskins happens to be a player he idolized growing up, as both he and Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon have great natural accuracy from the pocket to make up for being top-heavy throwers.
Conclusion
Overall, Dwayne Haskins is a pure pocket passer that can make all the throws, and his football character should make teams optimistic about correcting his flaws. In the right situation, I think Haskins can be the face of a franchise for the next 15 years.
Had no idea he was smart like that haha.
Racist.
Give it a rest.
Holy…. are you serious?
Jeez..
I think Dwayne will be very good at the next level.
He can sling it.
