Strengths

Fast and rangy perimeter corner. Prototypical size with quality length. Fluid overall mover. Excellent feet and change-of-direction skills at his size. Very good burst/acceleration. Easily transitions to a sprint and glides at full speed. Great in bump-and-run coverage. Easily stays with vertical routes. Knows how to use hands without committing a penalty. Exceptional technique around the line of scrimmage. Good timing to deflect passes. Plus vision and instincts in zone coverage. High football intelligence. Big enough to cover move tight ends. Quality ball skills. Decisive coming up in run support. Willing and effective tackler. Times up perimeter blitzes. Has experience playing both sides of the formation and man coverage in the slot.

Weaknesses

Will allow short passes playing with his back to the sideline. Struggled in final game versus LSU. Allowed too much separation and failed to locate the ball when in position.

Conclusion

Overall, Terrell has the traits to be a great all-around cornerback that can play both man and zone coverage at a high level, but it will be interesting to see how he fares against NFL competition after rarely being challenged in college. I think the overall body of work is certainly enough to keep Terrell in play as a late first- or early second-round pick.
