Strengths
Very high motor. Great combination of size and natural athleticism. Powerful with a thick lower and upper body. Remarkable versatility. Can lineup inside or outside. Movement skills would be rare for interior defender. Excellent pursuit and good range as a tackler. Hands are strong and active. Shows impressive bend for his size. Gets off the ball quickly and keeps his pads low. Plus play recognition and reaction time. Maximizes length by benching guys off his frame. Strong setting the edge when needed. Uses a rip or spin move as a pass rusher. Has some wiggle/subtleness. Shows flashes of disruptive interior penetration. Should be very effective on stunts. Athletic enough to be a quarterback spy or drop in coverage from the interior. Loves the game and has the mindset to dominate his opponent.
Weaknesses
Could be too much of a “tweener” after mostly playing on the edge at Auburn. More impactful as a stand-up outside linebacker than defensive tackle. Sometimes caught inside playing the run from the edge. Will have to improve versus double teams.

Conclusion
Overall, Davidson is a relentless defender with position versatility, but I think his best fit will come as a three-technique defensive lineman that can focus his skillset on winning inside. The football character, size, and athleticism makes Davidson worth selecting early on Day 2.
This dude is hilarious.
He’s one of my favs
I’m afraid the upside might be capped given his position.
Solid, strong.
