Strengths

Excellent overall athleticism and explosiveness. Quick first step. High motor. Great feet and change-of-direction skills. Very active hands. Strong upper body. Phenomenal pursuit. Excellent track-down speed when he gets going. Has a signature spin move as a pass rusher. Possesses an effective rip move as he gets upfield. Athleticism allows him to get to the quarterback on wide stunts to the edge. Good play recognition. Reliable tackler/finisher. Plays hard and hustles to the action. Quality attacking two-gapper. Often draws double teams. Has experience lining up all along the interior. Scheme versatile. Will get his arms up to disrupt passing lanes.

Weaknesses

Can be controlled by length. Average lower body strength and drive. Gets moved as an anchor against double teams. Turns his back to the play instead of strafing at times.

Conclusion

Overall, Gallimore is an athletic defensive lineman with light feet and active hands, which should allow him to make an immediate impact as a penetrator at the next level. He often lined up over the center at Oklahoma, but a lack of size/height will make Gallimore a better fit as a 3-technique in either a 3-4 or 4-3 front.
