Outstanding speed and acceleration. Exceptional closing burst. Strong and physical despite smaller overall size. Very smooth mover in space. Light feet. Tremendous pursuit. Takes ideal angles to the ball. Square-up tackler that stays low in a compact frame. Violent hitter. Decisive playing the run. Aggressive taking on blocks to help overcome size concerns. Very good overall play recognition and reaction time. Fluid in the backpedal. Flips his hips. Erases flats and screens for running backs in man coverage. Great timing as a blitzer up the middle. Fire and competitiveness is easy to see. Seems to have a good command of pre-play adjustments. Has the profile to be an excellent quarterback spy. Played his best in the College Football Playoff.

Can be absorbed by blockers that reach him. Size may require a strong defensive line to keep him clean. Feet may need to remain more active to avoid missed tackles when in position. Awareness in zone coverage could use improvement. Part-time player to start 2019 season.

Overall, Queen is a fast, twitched-up linebacker that plays with desired aggressiveness against the run and has natural movement skills in coverage. Especially if he ends up with a team that has a strong front already in place, Queen should eventually become an impact defender in the NFL.
