Conclusion
Overall, Reed is a very intelligent and instinctive centerfielder that will make plays in coverage and come up to defend the run. Similar to guys like Desmond King and Jaquan Johnson in previous years, I think it would be a mistake to overlook Reed as an early-round pick because of potential concerns about top-end speed/athleticism.
