Strengths
Prototype size and length. Tremendous movement skills for a bigger cornerback. Very good speed and acceleration. Fast and smooth in the backpedal. Phenomenal ball skills and athleticism. Converted wide receiver and it shows. Extremely quick to locate the ball in the air. Gets his head around. Very aggressive playing the ball and goes for interceptions. Usually attacks at the catch point without committing a penalty. Standout playmaker with room to grow. Stays low and plays with good technique. Doesn’t get grabby in press coverage. Naturally mirrors receivers down the field. Great skillset to play a variety of zone coverages. Comfortable in cushion coverage with eyes on the quarterback. Not thrown at often. Issues with change of direction seem to be more about reading/anticipating routes than concern about skillset. Willing tackler. Shows ideal competitiveness and fire. Mostly left cornerback but has lined up in the slot. Could have the versatility/skillset to play safety.
Weaknesses
Injury/durability concerns including recent back surgery despite not playing in 2020. Struggles most allowing separation on quick change of direction. On his heels too much. Can be a bit slow opening out of the press. Susceptible to double moves with eyes in the backfield. Could see improved play strength for his size.

Conclusion
Overall, Farley is an athletic, playmaking cornerback with prototype size, and he should only get better with more experience at the position. Based on his skillset, Farley can be molded into a top option on the outside for any defensive scheme.
Like the comps.
I think I prefer this cornerback class to last year’s.
I do.
Good report
