Strengths
Elite speed as a track star at LSU. Excellent athleticism and movement skills. Great feet and reaction time. Extremely versatile with the ability to play multiple spots in the secondary. Mostly slot and deep safety with previous experience on the outside. Intelligent and instinctive. Very quick to break on the ball. Great skillset in zone coverage from the slot. At his best with eyes on the quarterback. Extremely quick to recognize and jump on bubble screens. Phenomenal ball skills. Flashed with big plays. Tagged Jalen Hurts, Kellen Mond, and Jordan Love for interceptions in 2019. Brings some aggression coming up to tackle with a clean shot. Has shown the ability to breakdown in space and make a tackle when needed.
Weaknesses
Lacks ideal length/size on the perimeter. Needs to anticipate/read routes better in man coverage. Overall coverage technique needs improvement. Doesn’t have much experience in press coverage. Gets caught flat-footed versus crossers. Allows receivers to beat him vertically despite speed. Seems to have his eyes in the backfield at times. Not as effective tackling when ball-carriers have a head of steam. Needs to be better getting off blocks.

Conclusion
Overall, Vincent Jr. is a fast, athletic, and versatile defensive back with the skillset and instincts to make an impact at the next level. While the weaknesses are a concern right now, they are almost all correctable with more experience and coaching.
A track star, interesting. Cool.
