Strengths
Massive size with low-to-the-ground frame. Extremely thick lower body. Elite overall power. Excellent on down blocks and double teams. Able to move defenders with one arm. Can wipe defensive lineman out with a shoulder block. Only needs to catch a piece of someone to take them out. Good ability to square his shoulders in the hole after pulling. Nifty feet for his size. Quality first-step quickness. Great reaction time to locate and turn to make a block. Follows the action and will get in on piles. Experience with a variety of blocks and mostly made them despite athletic limitations. Impressive mirror skills at his size. Too strong to go through with a bull rush. Does a good job using his hands in pass protection. Balanced in pass sets with good patience. Played very well versus top competition in the SEC. Cut 20+ pounds from Senior Bowl to Pro Day.
Weaknesses
Struggles to get in position on some cross-face blocks. Below-average change-of-direction ability and acceleration. Lacks explosiveness to really connect on move blocks in space. Could see him engage more often rather than pushing/charging. Bailed out by the quarterback on some pressures. Sometimes loopy in his movements.

Conclusion
Overall, Brown is a big and powerful guard that was battle-tested against top competition and should be a very good starter if he can keep his weight down. Offenses that use a power-running scheme in particular should look to him as a target on Day 2.
Sounds like a bully
Everyone is all over the place with this guy
