Strengths
Prototype size and power at left tackle. Untapped potential in terms of using raw strength. Elite athleticism and easy movement skills. Soft feet in pass sets. Smooth overall in pass protection. Plus length to keep defenders off his frame. Knows how to use his length and stays prepared to use hands as a pass blocker. Great overall awareness. Tremendous ability to square shoulders and engage. Top-tier acceleration. Quick and decisive working from block to block. Extremely comfortable in space. Effective leading the way as a puller and reaching second-level defenders. Strong hands to shove defenders when engaged. Technically sound hand placement helps avoid penalties. Intelligent and instinctive with quick reaction time. Performed very well versus top competition (Marlon Davidson and Auburn in 2019 opener). Won’t turn 21 until the fall.
Weaknesses
Needs to play with better balance in the running game by getting legs more involved. Will sometimes lunge rather than keep his feet under him to engage/drive. Would like to see more consistent dominance in the running game.

Conclusion
Overall, Sewell is an athletic and powerful blindside protector with the tools to be an all-around impact player at the next level. A team that takes Sewell should immediately get a signficant boost in terms of pass protection, and the weaknesses are easily correctable with more coaching/experience.
DJ is too low on him imo
