Strengths

Top-tier explosiveness. Superb contact balance. Excellent overall elusiveness with freestyling ability to make defenders miss with jukes/spins. Innately strings moves together. Doesn’t dance. Home-run speed when he hits the second level. Quick and decisive making cuts in space. Signature juke/jump cut. Possesses some violence/physicality as a runner. Plus power for his size. Very good overall vision and patience. Slasher that just needs a crease on inside runs. Tremendous acceleration to get outside. Impressive pacing and feet to weave through blocks/traffic on outside zone runs. Very effective stiff arm. Rare versatility out of the backfield. Former wide receiver with elite pass-catching ability. Runs routes at full speed like a wideout. Angle routes are too sharp/fast to cover. Great hands. Smooth catching the ball and transitioning from catch to run. Deadly in the screen game. Has lined up all over the place. Good ball security. Dangerous kick returner.

Weaknesses

Some potential concerns about durability. Could be better getting through a crowd inside. Path can be somewhat loopy at times when bouncing a run outside. Might be seen exclusively as a complementary option or miscast as a pure wide receiver.

Conclusion

Overall, Felton projects as a dynamic running back with an all-around game that should be featured—and will need to be prepared for—on a weekly basis. If he lands in the right situation, Felton could eventually be viewed as one of the league’s top weapons and might end up being the steal of the draft.
