Very strong and compact build. Above-average speed and burst from the slot. Excellent shake as a route runner. Creates consistent space underneath when given cushion coverage. Plus body control. Quick to adjust to the back-shoulder ball. Deceptive on out-and-up double move from inside. Made big plays both in the slot and out wide. Has the release footwork and strength to win outside. Great vision/feel with the ball in his hands. Impressive ability to anticipate and make the first guy miss. Excellent contact balance. Able to shed arm tackles and will shrug off high tacklers. Weapon on pop passes, bubble screens, etc. Doesn’t dance. Intelligent and versatile. Very tough and competitive. Quality blocker. Adds value as a punt returner. Returned from a torn ACL in less than six months. Did some work as a running back in the pre-draft process.

Limited catch radius. Inconsistent holding on through contact. Struggled catching the ball in traffic versus Notre Dame in 2020. Catch focus can be inconsistent in general. Concerns about ability to separate versus closer coverage.

Overall, Rodgers is a tough, compact receiver who can turn an underneath throw into a big play and shows some downfield ability. He should be a weapon that gets manufactured touches at the next level and will ideally settle in as a strong No. 2 or No. 3 option in the passing attack.
