Strengths
Plus explosiveness. Stays low and athletic in a compact build. Versatile with a full season as both an edge defender and off-ball linebacker. Very good instincts versus the run. Wraps up aggressively as a tackler. Big hands to get ball-carriers down with reaching ankle tackles. Quick reaction time. Very good quickness. Tremendous pursuit. Impressive strength to shed blocks. Packs power in his hands. Able to quickly disengage. Aggressive taking on blockers and can bullet in to disrupt a play. Able to crash down across the face of blockers to make a tackle inside. Springy and explosive out of two-point stance. Flashed a dip move on the edge. High motor and keeps his feet moving. Plays extremely hard. Has experience shading inside as a three-technique. Comfortable dropping in coverage. Team captain with desired intangibles. Played excellent in win versus Auburn (2021).
Weaknesses
Very limited pass rush production with 0.5 career sack. Still developing as a pass rusher. Slightly below-average overall size and length. Has stiffness in his hips. Limited side-to-side fluidity for his level of explosiveness and lack of size. Can get lured by play-action fakes.

Conclusion
Overall, Luketa is a versatile defender that should develop into a very good all-around player on the edge with more experience. The tools are there for his upside as a rusher to match his abilities as a run defender if some added fluidity can be unlocked.
