WOLF SPORTS PROJECTION

Tyree Jackson | Eagles TE

Tyree Jackson suffered a torn ACL.

The hope was that it wasn't a torn ACL for Jackson suffered in last night's game, but unfortunately an MRI showed an ACL tear. This comes after Jackson scored his first career touchdown last night, so it's a tough break for a player that was developing at tight end. The former quarterback now faces a lengthy rehab process, and we wish him luck on his recovery.

The Eagles have activated Tyree Jackson from injured reserve.

Jackson should get a great opportunity to prove himself behind Dallas Goedert down the stretch, and he’s definitely a name to monitor based on his size and athleticism—particularly in dynasty leagues.

The Eagles opened the practice window for Tyree Jackson (back).

Jackson has been on injured reserve all season after he was injured during the preseason. But the former quarterback showed major flashes at tight end this summer, and Philadelphia has high hopes for him and has stated that he'll get a big opportunity with Zach Ertz traded to Arizona. Jackson is someone to watch in dynasty leagues in particular.

Tyree Jackson (back) to miss a couple of months.

Jackson landed on his back during yesterday's practice, and unfortunately he has a fracture that'll force him out for eight-to-ten weeks. This is really unfortunate for the quarterback-turned-tight-end who was making an impact this summer. Still, Jackson is a very intriguing player and is certainly someone to keep an eye on and potentially stash in dynasty leagues.

The Eagles are signing Tyree Jackson and moving him to tight end, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

Philadelphia has already brought Hakeem Butler onboard as a developmental player to switch from receiver to tight end, and now they are going the Logan Thomas route with Jackson. The former strong-armed quarterback certainly has the size at six-foot-seven to make the transition, and he will look to stick around and make the team out of camp next summer.

The Bills are waiving Tyree Jackson.

Jackson, who was initially and ignorantly given a higher 'Madden 20' rating than sixth overall pick Daniel Jones, has very good physical tools, but the undrafted rookie wasn't going to win the backup job over Matt Barkley, and Buffalo might be keeping just two quarterbacks on the 53-man roster. The Bills will likely try to get Jackson on the practice squad.

Undrafted free agent quarterback Tyree Jackson is signing with the Bills, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter

Jackson is one of the more intriguing players in this year’s draft, as he’s a massive six-foot-seven, 249 pounds with a laser for an arm and plus athleticism. As a junior for Buffalo last season, Jackson threw 28 touchdowns and 12 interceptions, and he decided to enter the NFL draft instead of staying in school for his senior season. He certainly must be disappointed after not getting drafted, but he lands in a good spot in Buffalo (where he went to college) with the Bills, and he has a chance to develop into Josh Allen's long-term backup.
