2K Sports releasing their “Momentous” trailer for the upcoming NBA 2K game each year is a sign that millions of people will soon have the highly-acclaimed game in their hands. Ahead of tonight’s early release of NBA 2K19 for those that ordered the 20th Anniversary Edition, 2K dropped the “Momentous” trailer for the game.
As most have come to expect, 2K did a great job of presenting a lot of new gameplay in a cinematic-like trailer. It’s all new footage from the game, teasing people with what they’ll soon be able to do with their favorite NBA teams and players.
A couple of things that stand out include the facial expressions of each player—the in-game characters look as real as ever, which is critical for a game (basketball) where players are seen in plain sight. Also, the dribble moves and layups appear to be the best they’ve been, especially the stutter step-back jumper from reigning league MVP James Harden.
Soon enough, people will be able to get on the sticks and play the newest version of perhaps the best sports video game title ever.
The 20th Anniversary Edition of NBA 2K19 releases tonight at midnight, while the standard version of the game will be available on Tuesday, September 11.
