EA Sports is trying to get into the basketball video game market after a year off from the game. Two-time runner up for the NBA’s Most Valuable Player, James Harden, is the cover athlete for NBA Live 18.
The game releases on September 19, the same day as the best-selling 2K Sports’ basketball installment, NBA 2K18. EA is offering a free demo for the game, available tomorrow, as they try to pick off people that normally buy NBA 2K games each year.
Among the features announced with the cover reveal, NBA Live 18 will have playable WNBA teams—similar to what EA Sports has done with their FIFA series.
Those that pre-order NBA Live 18 will get the game four days early on September 15.
