The First Official ‘NBA 2K19’ Gameplay Trailer Has Dropped

Earlier today, the first official gameplay trailer for NBA 2K19 officially dropped:

There wasn’t really anything mind-blowing to come out of the trailer, but it’s clear that NBA 2K will remain the gold standard for sports video games with realistic graphics, chainable dribble moves, in-depth player emotion, and just an all-around classy presentation. You can read more about the new features in an official blog that was quietly released last week.

It’s also notable that 2K Sports appears to be going back to Xbox as their main console like they used it, and it was cool to hear the patented sound effect to start and end the trailer. As you saw, there is already a deal where purchasing an Xbox One will give you NBA 2K19, so that’s potentially something to look into for those looking to either switch consoles or get a new one. It will be interesting to see if any other benefits come out of an Xbox-2K partnership.

NBA 2K19 releases September 11, 2018 or four days early on September 7, 2018 for those who pre-order the 20th Anniversary Edition.
