Join now >The Bills places Frank Gore on the non-football injury list.
Gore probably just isn’t at 100% to start camp, but there’s no indication that he’s dealing with anything serious. Expect him to be taken off the NFI list soon as he looks to get on the field and earn a big role in Buffalo’s backfield.

A.J. Green had a minor ankle procedure, but a return for the season opener is “still possible,” according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
It was a cleanup procedure after Green injured his ankle over the weekend, so perhaps the six-to-eight weeks initially reported is inaccurate. Injury concerns have definitely piled up for Green, but he will do everything he can to be ready for Week 1, which would make him an absolute steal in the middle rounds of fantasy drafts.

The Chargers signed Malachi Dupre.
Last season, Dupre spent time with the Texans, Seahawks, and Cardinals after spending his rookie year with the Packers and Bills. The 2017 seventh-round pick will now look to win a role with the Chargers, but the practice squad might also be a good spot for the 23-year-old as he looks to develop into a contributor on an NFL roster.

The Browns placed Kareem Hunt on the non-football injury list.
Hunt is dealing with a groin issue, but it’s probably not too serious. The former league-leading rusher can be taken off the NFI list at any time, and hopefully it’s soon, as he’s banned eight games and could use the on-field work this time of year.

The Vikings waived Roc Thomas.
Thomas was suspended last week by the NFL for three games, so this isn’t a surprise. The 23-year-old should get another opportunity elsewhere, and he might even be claimed by another team on waivers.

John Ross is expected to miss at least two weeks with a hamstring injury.
Geoff Hobson of the Bengals’ official website writes that Ross is “possibly staring at two weeks off with a hamstring issue.” It was thought that Ross was only dealing with hamstring tightness, but it sounds worse than that if he’s going to be out for a couple of weeks—and that two weeks might just be the minimum. With A.J. Green (ankle) already out for several weeks, this is really bad news for the Bengals; and it’s worse news for Ross, who has dealt with the injury bug since entering the league as a first-round pick in 2017 and was getting acclimated to a new offense giving him a fresh start. Things can change, but Ross isn’t likely to be selected in most fantasy drafts.

Antonio Brown has been taken off the non-football injury list.
Brown passed his physical and is ready to go for the Raiders after missing just one training camp practice. AB will continue to work on his chemistry with new quarterback Derek Carr while also serving as an example to the entire team on how to work hard during practice. Brown should almost certainly remain a fantasy WR1 this season despite switching teams, as the Raiders are going to funnel him the ball.
