Join now >The Texans are re-signing Royce Freeman.
Freeman is back after playing in seven games for Houston last season. The former third-round pick of the Broncos will look to win a sizable role in a backfield and on a team that’ll be pushing competition.

The Buccaneers are signing Chris Godwin to a three-year, $60-million deal.
Godwin is back for the next three seasons rather than again playing on the franchise tag, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if the return of Tom Brady was the push needed for a deal to come together. Coming off a torn ACL, Godwin is an excellent dynasty buy and will likely be underrated in redraft leagues this summer. Rob Gronkowski—who suggested he’ll be back—is the final big piece that Tampa Bay needs to get under contract for them to have the band back together for another run.

Ricky Seals-Jones is signing with the Giants.
Seals-Jones had a nice season in place of Logan Thomas with Washington in 2021, and now he’ll join the rival Giants as the top current tight end on the depth chart. New York should be a top candidate to draft a tight end at some point next month, and it’s notably a strong rookie class for the position.

The Dolphins are signing Raheem Mostert.
Mostert is reuniting with former 49ers offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel in Miami, and the team now has their backfield set with the veteran joining fellow signing Chase Edmonds. This move should put both guys on the FLEX radar, and we’d expect the backfield will be one of the main ones to watch in the summer and through preseason action.

The Jets are signing Tyler Conklin, according to NFL Network.
Conklin joins C.J. Uzomah as the new tandem at tight end for New York, which eliminates a potential need for them on Day 2 of the draft. The Jets will now have more of a focus on rounding out the receiving corps for Zach Wilson, but Conklin should see quite a bit of playing time in 12 personnel.

The Bills are signing O.J. Howard.
On the heels of signing pass rusher Von Miller to a six-year, $120-million deal, Buffalo is also adding to the offense by pairing Howard with Dawson Knox at tight end. The former first-round pick fell clearly behind Cameron Brate (and obviously Rob Gronkowski) last season in Tampa Bay, but he was coming off a torn Achilles and will hopefully be able to regain form catching passes from Josh Allen. Knox will be the clear preferred option from a fantasy perspective, though we’ll see if Buffalo—currently with three wideouts under contract—ends up using more heavy personnel groupings in 2022.

The Raiders are signing Jakob Johnson.
The Raiders just lost fullback Alec Ingold to the Dolphins, so Josh McDaniels is bringing in a player he coached with New England to help fill the role. Johnson should be a lead blocker for Josh Jacobs and company this season.
