JuJu Smith-Schuster | Chiefs WR

JuJu Smith-Schuster scores in season finale as Pittsburgh beats Cincinnati, 16-13.

Smith-Schuster caught five passes for 37 yards, including an 11-yard catch-and-run in the second half for six. Unfortunately, the Steelers survived their matchup, but Cleveland couldn’t pull off a game-winning drive against the Ravens, so Pittsburgh’s season is over. JuJu finishes a monster campaign with 111 receptions for 1,426 yards and seven touchdowns that should almost certainly end in a Pro Bowl appearance when players inevitably drop out. Smith-Schuster should be drafted as at least a low-end WR1 next summer.

Nelson Agholor | Free Agent WR

Nelson Agholor scores twice in Eagles’ Week 17 win.

Agholor caught five passes for 40 yards and two touchdowns against the Redskins. The first score was on a flat route that was initially ruled incomplete but was then deemed a touchdown as he caught the ball, established his feet, and made a move toward the goal line in possession of the ball. The second score was a 22-yarder on a drag route for Nate Sudfeld’s first career touchdown, which Agholor initially gave to a young Eagles fan—but the young fan kindly gave it back for Sudfeld to have. This was Agholor’s first career multi-touchdown game, and it was good to see him get opportunities like this to make plays with the ball in his hands, as he’s an exceptional athlete that can break games open. Agholor’s fourth regular season ends with 64 receptions for 736 yards and four touchdowns along with three carries for 32 yards, but he’s a much better player than the stats indicate. As the Eagles embark on another Super Bowl run, Agholor will be a key member for a repeat as one of the team’s best and most reliable players.

Johnny Mundt | Jaguars TE

Johnny Mundt catches first career pass in Week 17.

Mundt gained five yards on his lone reception against the Niners. Congrats to the Oregon product on his first career reception. He’ll look to make an impact for the Rams in the postseason.

Jordan Howard | Free Agent RB

Jordan Howard scores twice in Week 17 win over the Vikings.

Howard rushed 21 times for 109 yards and two touchdowns, also adding a five-yard reception. The 24-year-old didn’t reach 1,000 yards for the first time in three NFL seasons, but he’s really emerged down the stretch with 88 carries for 399 yards (4.5 YPC) and four touchdowns in December. Overall, Howard rushed 250 times for 935 yards (3.7 YPC) and nine touchdowns in Matt Nagy’s offense. The Indiana product will look to wear down opponent’s in January, starting next week against the Eagles.

12/31/18 - 02:24 PM ET

Vance McDonald | Retired TE

Vance McDonald caught three passes for 39 yards in Sunday’s win over the Bengals.

McDonald ends a breakout season with 50 receptions for 610 yards and four touchdowns, establishing himself as a low-end TE1 in one of the NFL’s most explosive offenses. Turning 29 over the summer, McDonald is signed in Pittsburgh for three more seasons.

12/31/18 - 03:47 PM ET

Alshon Jeffery | Free Agent WR

Alshon Jeffery scores against the Redskins.

Jeffery caught five passes for 59 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles’ Week 17 win over Washington. The score was a nice catch in contested coverage in the end zone. Jeffery’s regular season ends with 65 receptions for 843 yards and six touchdowns in 13 games, but he’s really heated up as of late with Nick Foles under-center, putting up lines of 8/160/0, 3/82/0 and 5/59/1 heading into the postseason. Jeffery faces his former Bears team in the Wild Card Round this Sunday evening.

12/31/18 - 02:22 PM ET

Gerald Everett | Free Agent TE

Gerald Everett did not catch a pass in Week 17.

The second-year tight end’s regular season closes with 33 receptions for 320 yards and three touchdowns, with his highlight coming on a 40-yard game-winning touchdown in the epic Monday night win over the Chiefs, a game in which he scored twice. Everett could be a major difference-maker in the postseason for the Rams.
