Join now >Saquon Barkley (ankle) has officially been ruled out for Monday night.
Barkley remains week-to-week while dealing with his ankle injury, and it’s unclear when he’ll be able to return to the lineup—hopefully sooner than later. Devontae Booker will again draw the start at running back for the Giants this week.

The Colts waived Jordan Wilkins.
This move is pretty interesting and somewhat surprising, as it might indicate that Marlon Mack is expected to remain with the team through the trade deadline. That said, Wilkins has familiarity with the Colts and could easily return and re-sign with the team soon. Wilkins has played well when he’s been called into action for Indy throughout his career.

Darrynton Evans has been placed on injured reserve.
This is the second time Evans has been placed on IR this season, so his year is now done. Appearing in just one game, Evans rushed twice for seven yards and caught two passes for 11 yards. It’s obviously an unfortunate ending for the second-year runner, and Tennessee will turn to Jeremy McNichols as their clear No. 2 back behind Derrick Henry the rest of the way.

Trey Lance is off the injury report for Week 8.
Lance will be back as the No. 2 quarterback behind Jimmy Garoppolo, and we’d expect Kyle Shanahan might use the rookie in a change-of-pace role in an attempt to spark the offense. As long as the season doesn’t completely fall off the rails, though, it’d be a surprise if San Francisco turned to Lance as the starter in 2021.

Rob Gronkowski (ribs) is officially listed as questionable for Week 8.
Gronkowski was able to practice on a limited basis all week, and the hope/expectation is that he’ll return to the lineup this Sunday for a divisional matchup in New Orleans. The Bucs play in the late window of games, though, so just keep an eye on his status and keep a backup plan in mind in case Gronk happens to be out again.
10/29/21 - 04:20 PM ET
Corey Davis (hip) is doubtful for Week 8.
Davis probably won’t play against Cincinnati, which would give second-year wideout Denzel Mims a shot to step up in a starting role. That said, it will be difficult to trust anyone on the offense this week with Mike White under center versus an underrated defense.
10/29/21 - 03:44 PM ET
Dak Prescott (calf) is questionable for Week 8.
The status has seemed to lean towards Prescott not playing over the past couple of days, but not being ruled out is at least a good sign—though fantasy owners will be in a tough spot if they push it until Sunday night and don’t have Kirk Cousins or Daniel Jones as a backup plan. If Dak plays, he will remain an upside QB1 option against a Minnesota defense without Patrick Peterson (hamstring).
