Justin Jackson | Retired RB

Justin Jackson handles 19 touches in win over the Chiefs.

Jackson rushed 16 times for 58 yards and a touchdown, also adding three receptions for 27 yards. The rookie didn’t get much going in the first half, but his night was saved by a one-yard score in the fourth quarter of LA’s ferocious comeback. Unfortunately, Philip Rivers threw a bad pass on a would-be touchdown on the game’s final possession, but overall, it was a solid night for a spot start. Melvin Gordon (knee) will hopefully be ready to roll next week against Baltimore, but if Jackson draws another start, he would be a solid FLEX in a difficult matchup.

Devontae Booker | Free Agent RB

Devontae Booker catches two passes in Week 14.

Booker gained 11 yards on his two receptions versus the Niners. Booker has a reception in 11 consecutive games, but he’s not a highly-recommended fantasy option right now.

12/10/18 - 12:05 PM ET

Philip Rivers | Retired QB

Philip Rivers, Chargers stun the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium, 29-28.

Rivers was 26/38 for 313 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions, also throwing for the game-winning two-point conversion with just four seconds to play. The night didn’t start off well as Rivers tossed an interception on the game’s opening possession and then again at the end of the first half, but he led a fourth-quarter comeback with two touchdown drives down 28-14, including a one-yard score to Mike Williams and then the conversion attempt to a wide-open Williams to win it. Los Angeles is now 11-3, but they’ll need to win out and have Kansas City lose a game to win the AFC West and potentially claim the No. 1 seed in the conference. Next up is a Saturday night clash against the stout Ravens, so Rivers should be downgraded from the QB1 ranks.

12/13/18 - 11:40 PM ET

Ricky Seals-Jones | Colts TE

Ricky Seals-Jones caught three passes for 31 yards in Sunday’s loss to Detroit.

It was a step up considering Seals-Jones had been held to a combined 20 yards over the previous three weeks, but it didn’t lead to any offensive production for Arizona in a 17-3 defeat. Fantasy owners should look for a tight end that has a better quarterback situation down the stretch.

12/10/18 - 12:04 PM ET

DaeSean Hamilton | Free Agent WR

DaeSean Hamilton catches first career touchdown against the Niners.

Hamilton caught seven passes for 47 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos’ Week 14 loss, with the score coming on a one-yard pass to the flat to bring the Broncos within one possession in the fourth quarter. This will probably be the first of many NFL touchdowns for Penn State’s all-time leader in receptions, and he remains a very strong hold in dynasty leagues. Hamilton is also worth a look in redraft leagues if he’s still available, particularly in PPR leagues. He’ll look to make it two straight games with a score this Saturday night against Cleveland.

12/10/18 - 12:03 PM ET

Melvin Gordon III | Free Agent RB

Melvin Gordon (knee) was officially limited in today’s practice.

There have been conflicting reports and statements about Gordon’s status for a big Thursday night matchup with the Chiefs, but it certainly looks like the star running back is making a strong push to play for the Chargers. Another limited practice tomorrow and a questionable tag when the final Week 15 injury report is released would be a positive sign that at least gives him a chance to suit up on Thursday. This is shaping up as a game-time decision, but we’ll see what happens tomorrow.

12/11/18 - 05:00 PM ET

Larry Fitzgerald | Cardinals WR

Larry Fitzgerald caught five passes for 55 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Lions.

Fitzgerald saw nine targets, but Josh Rosen left basically all the incompletions on the field by not even giving the future Hall of Famer a chance in a 17-3 defeat. The most notable was a big play down the seam, and Rosen also threw a terrible bullet pass on a fade that Fitz won on because he probably didn’t want to risk an interception. The schedule (@ ATL, v LAR, @ SEA) looks promising for what could be the end of Larry’s career, but quarterback play unfortunately caps his ceiling and lowers his floor.
