This is an upgrade for Robinson after he didn’t practice yesterday, but he still might not be a lock for Week 15. We’ll see how he’s listed on the final injury report when it’s released tomorrow ahead of the weekend.
12/13/18 - 04:47 PM ET
Andy Jones catches one pass in win over the Cardinals.
It went for five yards. Jones isn’t a recommended fantasy option in a low-upside passing attack.
12/10/18 - 11:37 AM ET
Spencer Ware (shoulder/hamstring) will not practice today.
Ware also didn’t participate in yesterday’s walkthrough, so his status isn’t looking good on a short week after he missed the end of Kansas City’s win against Baltimore with a hamstring injury. Damien Williams needs to be a top waiver-wire add this week if he’s still available in your league. Hopefully Ware is able to work his way into playing on Thursday night, but he’s looking on the doubtful side of things for now.
12/11/18 - 12:53 PM ET
Bruce Ellington caught four passes for 17 yards before leaving Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury.
Ellington left the game in the second quarter, but he at least brought in all four of his targets for PPR owners that rolled with him in deeper leagues. If the veteran gets cleared for next week, he won’t be a strong play in Buffalo.
12/10/18 - 11:36 AM ET
David Johnson (quadricep) was officially limited in today’s practice.
Johnson is thought to be ready for Sunday against the Falcons, but a full practice wouldn’t been better to see after he missed yesterday session. We’ll see how DJ is listed on the final Week 15 injury report when it’s released tomorrow. There’s a chance he doesn’t carry an injury designation into the weekend, which would put fantasy owners at ease.
12/13/18 - 04:21 PM ET
Levine Toilolo caught two passes for 26 yards in Sunday’s win over the Cardinals.
Toilolo hauled in both of his targets, but Detroit had a very conservative attack in a 17-3 victory. Fantasy owners should look elsewhere down the stretch.
12/10/18 - 11:34 AM ET
Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn now indicates Melvin Gordon (knee) has a chance to play on Thursday night.
Lynn told SiriusXM NFL Radio that “there’s always a chance” when asked about Gordon potentially playing against the Chiefs in a couple of days. This could just be Lynn not wanting to rule Gordon out quite yet, but he did say that Gordon looked good in practice last week and is running around and changing direction, adding that Gordon is “champing at the bit” to get out there for the big AFC West matchup. He also said that if Gordon can play, he will play. Steve Wyche of NFL Network says Lynn told him Gordon is unlikely to play, but don’t count the star running back out just yet. We’ll update you with his practice status today and tomorrow—a limited participation today would be a positive sign.
