Riddick rushed six times for 28 yards and caught four passes for 30 yards. The receiving numbers actually led the team with Matthew Stafford throwing for just 101 yards, but Detroit didn’t need much offensive production in Arizona. Riddick won’t be a strong play next week against the Bills.

James Conner (ankle) officially did not practice today.
Head coach Mike Tomlin said that Conner had a chance to return for a huge game against the Patriots, but he probably needs to at least get a limited session in on Friday to have a realistic shot. However, Steelers offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner did say Conner could play without practicing. Fantasy owners should expect Jaylen Samuels to get another start with Stevan Ridley handling short-yardage work, but we’ll see how the second-year running back is listed when the final Week 15 injury report is released tomorrow.

LeGarrette Blount handles 14 touches in Week 14 win.
Blount rush 12 times for 33 yards, also adding two receptions for 18 yards and a lost fumble. The fumble opened the door for Zach Zenner (12 carries for 54 yards and a touchdown) to get more opportunities, and if Kerryon Johnson (knee) misses another game next week, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Blount have his role scaled back a bit. The Lions head to Buffalo in Week 15.

The Vikings have fired offensive coordinator John DeFilippo, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
This is a bit of a shocker but at the same time it’s not surprising. It’s a shocker because DeFilippo has been considered one of the top head coach candidates the last couple of years; but it’s not surprising because Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer has openly talked about the need for his team to run the ball more, which DeFilippo seemingly did not want to commit to. This simply was a pairing that didn’t work from the start, and it’s probably a good move to get Minnesota to play the way their head coach wants them to play. Expect the offense to pound the ball the final three games of the season, with both Dalvin Cook and Latavius Murray potentially set for a dozen or so touches each moving forward (with 20+ touch potential for Cook).

Zach Zenner leads rushing attack in win over the Cardinals.
Zenner rushed 12 times for 54 yards and a touchdown, which came from one yard away in the fourth quarter. LeGarrette Blount drew the start as Kerryon Johnson (knee) sat again, but he lost a fumble early and finished with just 12 carries for 33 yards. Zenner has always done well when given an opportunity over the past four years in Detroit, but he won’t be a recommended fantasy play in Week 15.

Kerryon Johnson (knee) did not practice today.
Perhaps Johnson will return to the practice field tomorrow, but he seems likely to be ruled out for Week 15 when the final injury report is released tomorrow.
12/13/18 - 04:04 PM ET
Matthew Stafford, Lions pickup road win against the Cardinals, 17-3.
Stafford was 15/23 for 101 yards, zero touchdowns, and zero interceptions, also adding a seven-yard rush. The ineptitude of Arizona’s offense allowed Detroit to have a very conservative offensive day, but that’s basically been the case all year for the Lions. Stafford won’t be a recommended option—even in two-quarterback leagues—for Week 15 against the Bills in Buffalo.
