Join now >Austin Ekeler (neck, concussion) is unlikely to play on Thursday night.
This isn’t surprising on a short week, but Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn also says the team is not optimistic about Melvin Gordon (knee) playing either. So it looks like Justin Jackson is set to lead the Chargers backfield in a huge matchup with the Chiefs. Ekeler seems likely to be ruled out tomorrow when the final Week 15 injury report is released.

Danny Amendola catches one pass against the Patriots.
Amendola gained ten yards in the Dolphins’ Week 14 win, as he couldn’t get much going as a receiver against his former team. The veteran receiver isn’t a highly-recommended fantasy option next week against the Vikings.

LeSean McCoy (hamstring) was officially limited in today’s practice.
This is a good step in the right direction for McCoy, who would do well to log another limited practice tomorrow. He’s likely headed for a questionable tag when the final Week 15 injury report is released, but he ultimately might be a game-time decision for Sunday against the Lions.

DeVante Parker catches one pass in Week 14.
Parker gained 18 yards on his lone reception against the Patriots, catching a deep curl route. The former first-round pick is a boom/bust fantasy option right now, and he has a tough matchup with the Vikings in Week 15.

The Chargers are “not optimistic” about Melvin Gordon (knee) playing on Thursday night.
This is according to Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn as told to NFL Network’s Steve Wyche. There were reports that Gordon might be back from his sprain MCL in Week 14, with Week 15 looking very promising if not; but it now looks like the superstar running back will not play on a short week against the Chiefs. Hopefully Gordon is able to make quick progress and play in a big AFC West matchup, but it looks like fantasy owners will be without him for the second week of the fantasy playoffs. Austin Ekeler (neck, concussion) also looks doubtful, so rookies Justin Jackson and Detrez Newsome are set to lead LA’s backfield in Week 15. Jackson will immediately be an RB2 option if Gordon and Ekeler are out.

Bennie Fowler scores in win over the Redskins.
Fowler caught a six-yard touchdown on his only target of the game, but the Giants didn’t need to throw the ball around in a 40-16 victory. Still, fantasy owners should look elsewhere in Week 15.

Keke Coutee (hamstring) is officially listed as questionable for Saturday.
Coutee was limited in practice all week, and he’s headed for a game-time call to face the Jets. The rookie receiver’s status will be known by 3:00 PM ET on Saturday.
