James gained seven yards on his lone receptions against the Steelers. He could find the end zone any given week, but it’s difficult to trust James in fantasy lineups.

Antonio Gates did not catch a pass against the Steelers.
Gates had a nice catch-and-run that was wiped away by a penalty, but that was it in the Week 13 victory. The veteran tight end is not a highly-recommended fantasy option at the moment, but next week against the Bengals could be a good spot for him if you’re going to use him.

Tyrell Williams catches one pass in Week 13.
Williams gained 14 yards on his lone reception against the Steelers. If Williams remains at less than 100% with his quad injury, he’ll be difficult to trust in fantasy lineups despite a great matchup with the Bengals in Week 14.

Mike Williams catches three passes in Week 13.
Williams gained 52 yards on his three receptions against the Steelers, making tough catches in traffic to help keep drives alive when his team needed it. It was a strong showing for the second-year receiver, who is a very reliable target for Philip Rivers and the offense. Williams has upside against the Bengals to open the fantasy playoffs next week.

Keenan Allen goes off as the Chargers comeback to beat the Steelers in primetime.
Philip Rivers threw 36 passes against the Steelers, and Allen received more than half of them with a whopping 19 targets in the Week 13 victory. Allen caught 14 passes for 148 yards and a touchdown along with a two-point conversion. Allen basically terrorized whoever was on him—including linebackers often times—throughout the game, getting open for his quarterback to hit him for positive yardage. The score was on an in-breaking route in the end zone that probably should’ve been intercepted, but two defenders collided while the ball popped into the air for Allen to dive for and secure for a touchdown. Allen now has a touchdown in four straight weeks, and hopefully you remained patient with him after a slow start to the season. He’ll be one of the better WR1 option next week to open the fantasy playoffs against a struggling Bengals pass defense.

Travis Benjamin scores in Chargers’ win.
Benjamin caught a controversial touchdown on a 46-yard deep ball in which there was a false start that probably should have been called. The non-penalty call didn’t really affect the play, though, as Benjamin simply beat the coverage down the right sideline for a deep ball touchdown. Overall, Benjamin had two receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown along with one carry for one yard. Benjamin is a boom/bust option for Week 14 against the Bengals, but it might be a good spot to use him against a defense that’s been poor this season.
12/3/18 - 01:26 PM ET
Austin Ekeler gets 18 touches against the Steelers.
Ekeler received a start with Melvin Gordon (knee) out of the lineup, but he didn’t have much room to run, carrying 13 times for 31 yards along with five receptions for 22 yards. Meanwhile, rookie Justin Jackson carried eight times for 63 yards and a touchdown. Jackson could be poised to become the backfield leader if Gordon misses more time, with Ekeler sliding into his normal complimentary role. Ekeler might still remain the No. 1 in the backfield if Gordon is out, but overall he’s probably best considered more of a FLEX option instead of a strong RB2.
