Marcus Mariota, Titans improve to 6-6 with comeback victory over the Jets.

Mariota was 20/35 for 282 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception, also adding a team-high 43 rushing yards on four attempts. Most importantly, Mariota once again proved clutch down the stretch to get Tennessee a win, hitting Corey Davis for an 11-yard score with less than minute to go. The former Heisman winner dropped a couple deep dimes to move the offense in the second half, and he’s finally rounding into form after a slow, injury-riddled start. A Thursday night matchup against Jacksonville keeps Mariota off the QB2 radar for Week 14, but he will be worth consideration as a streamer after that with games against the Giants, Redskins, and Colts.

Chase Edmonds scores first career touchdowns in Cardinals’ win.

Edmonds had a spectacular game to help lead the Cardinals to a big win in Lambeau Field, as he carried five times for 53 yards and two touchdowns along with two receptions for 13 yards. Both scores were from eight yards, as Edmonds received opportunities to finish off drives with David Johnson on the bench. Congrats to Edmonds on his first NFL scores, and hopefully they are the first of many. Edmonds remains a handcuff to Johnson for fantasy purposes, but this was an excellent performance that must make the Cardinals feel good about drafting him.

Jameis Winston, Bucs improve to 5-7 with 24-17 victory over Carolina.

Winston was 20/30 for 249 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions, also adding a team-high 48 rushing yards on five carries. Tampa Bay was able to get a 17-7 lead at the half with scores to Adam Humphries (three yards) and Chris Godwin (13 yards), and that was enough to hold on in a 24-17 victory. Winston can still meltdown in any given week, but next Sunday against the Saints will be a great matchup, and he should be on the QB1 map to start the fantasy playoffs.

Taylor Gabriel catches three passes in Week 13.

Gabriel gained 17 yards on his three receptions, and he had a costly lost fumble in the Bears’ overtime loss. The veteran receiver also had a potential touchdown that went off his hands/shoulder in the end zone, so it wasn’t a great game for him. Gabriel will look to bounce back next week against the Rams, but he’s difficult to trust in the first round of the fantasy playoffs.

Seth Roberts catches three passes in Week 13.

Roberts gained 25 yards on his three receptions versus Kansas City. Roberts it not a recommended fantasy option at the moment.

David Johnson gets 21 touches against the Packers.

Johnson carried 20 times for 69 yards and caught one pass for three yards in the Cardinals’ Week 13 victory in Lambeau Field. Unfortunately for fantasy owners, rookie running back Chase Edmonds scored a couple of eight-yard touchdowns while Johnson was on the bench. The workload remains promising, but the optimism that came with an offensive coordinator change hasn’t led to consistent strong RB1 results. Hopefully Arizona gets DJ more involved in space and as a receiver over the final four games of the season.

Kalen Ballage gets four carries against the Bills.

Ballage gained three yards on his four rushing attempts in the Dolphins’ Week 13 win. The rookie running back is just a dynasty-league option for now.
