Taylor Heinicke throws one pass in Week 13 loss.

Heinicke came in for the final play of the game after Cam Newton didn’t have enough arm strength for a Hail Mary attempt, but it fell incomplete. Carolina’s backup will ideally not see the field down the stretch.

Matthew Stafford, Lions battle in 30-16 loss to the Rams.

Stafford was 20/33 for 245 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, also adding a two-yard rush and losing a fumble. Despite dropping to 4-8, Detroit was competitive throughout, entering the fourth quarter down 16-13. That said, Stafford is unlikely to be a recommended QB2 in the fantasy playoffs with a difficult schedule (@ ARI, @ BUF, v MIN, @ GB) and weakened supporting cast down the stretch.

Demetrius Harris scores in Chiefs’ win.

Harris caught three passes for 39 yards and a touchdown against the Raiders, with the score coming on a nice sliding catch in the end zone on a dart from Patrick Mahomes in the red zone. Harris is not a reliable fantasy option, but in Kansas City’s offense, he has some touchdown upside if you’re desperate.

Phillip Lindsay runs wild in Broncos’ win.

Lindsay carried 19 times for 157 yards and two touchdowns along with one reception for two yards in the Week 13 win versus the Bengals. The first touchdown was a run deep in the red zone where he showed good vision and patience, and the second touchdown was a 65-yard run on a toss where he went untouched by a struggling Cincinnati defense. The undrafted rookie has five touchdowns the last three weeks and is averaging over 7.2 yards per carry in each game; the 19 attempts against the Bengals was a career-high, and he’s just 63 yards away from 1,000 for the season. Lindsay might be in the RB1 mix against the Niners in the first week of the fantasy playoffs given how well he’s playing.

Isiah McKenzie catches four passes in Week 13.

McKenzie gained 46 yards on his four receptions (four targets) against the Dolphins, but he also lost a fumble in the game. It’s good to see the second-year receiver involved on offense, but he’s not a recommended fantasy option yet.

Pharoh Cooper held without a catch in Week 13 win.

Cooper was targeted once in the victory. LA’s standout kick returner would probably need an injury to become fantasy relevant in 2018.

Isaiah Crowell handles 25 touches in loss to the Titans.

Crowell rushed 21 times for 98 yards, also adding four receptions for nine yards. It wasn’t exactly an efficient showing by the former Browns starter, but the volume was there for fantasy owners that rolled with him as a desperation FLEX play. It will be interesting to see if the Jets stick with Crowell down the stretch, but it would seem wise to get Elijah McGuire and Trenton Cannon more involved in a lost season. Crowell probably remains a shaky FLEX for Week 14 in Buffalo.
