The Seahawks have designated Rashaad Penny to return from injured reserve.

Penny is now able to practice, and we’d say there is a chance he returns for Monday night, especially with Alex Collins (hip) banged up. Even if he were to be in line to start, though, Penny wouldn’t be a highly recommended fantasy option for a difficult matchup versus the Saints.

Trey Lance (knee) is out for Week 7.

Jimmy Garoppolo is fortunately off the injury report to start, but Nate Sudfeld will be the No. 2 quarterback for the second game in a row. Hopefully Lance can get healthy in time to return in Week 8.

Garoppolo missed just one game with his calf injury, and the Niners will have their starter back on Sunday night. Jimmy G should have a slightly higher floor and ceiling this week with Trey Lance (knee) out.

Julio Jones (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 7.

While Jones is listed as questionable, he indicated to the media today that he’d be out there on Sunday against the Chiefs. It’s been a relatively disappointing season to this point for Julio, but the super-talented receiver has upside in a potential shootout this week.

Sammy Watkins (hamstring) ruled out for Week 7.

Watkins will miss his second game in a row, so Baltimore will count on Rashod Bateman to again have a sizable role alongside Marquise Brown. The bye next week should help Watkins return for the Ravens to begin November.

Latavius Murray (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 7.

Baltimore will rely on Le’Veon Bell and Devonta Freeman to lead the backfield on Sunday, and Ty’Son Williams should also be active. We’d say both Bell and Freeman are solid FLEX plays, especially with six teams on a bye.

Curtis Samuel (groin) has officially been ruled out for Week 7.

Samuel has dealt with this groin issue all season, and he’ll miss another game as Washington looks to hopefully get him to full strength at some point this year.
