Join now >Rod Smith rushed three times for two yards in Thursday night’s win over the Saints.
Smith only saw the field when Ezekiel Elliott (29 touches) needed a breather, and that should remain the case next week against the Eagles. The Ohio State product is just a handcuff that doesn’t need to be owned.

Mark Ingram gets nine touches in Week 13.
Ingram carried seven times for 27 yards and caught two passes for one yards versus the Cowboys. The Saints couldn’t get much of anything going offensively against a tough Dallas defense, and they didn’t get the ball much against a ball-control Cowboys team. Ingram’s basically been a boom/bust option this season, with 19+ points in three games and under nine points in his other five games. He faces the Buccaneers to open fantasy playoffs.

Ezekiel Elliott handles 29 touches as Cowboys upset the Saints, 13-10.
Elliott rushed 23 times for 76 yards, also adding six receptions for 60 yards and a touchdown. The score came on a well-executed screen pass from 16 yards away in the first half, and that was enough with the Cowboys playing stout defense all night. Zeke’s involvement as a receiver has really boosted his fantasy value in all formats this year, and he should again be a high-floor, must-start RB1 for next week’s matchup against the Eagles.

Alvin Kamara gets 19 touches in loss to the Cowboys.
Kamara carried 11 times for 36 yards and added eight receptions for 36 yards in the Week 13 loss. No one could get much going for New Orleans tonight, as Dallas had an excellent game defensively; Kamara was no different, as he had a long run of just seven yards and a long reception of just eight yards. It was an adequate performance if you play in PPR formats, but Kamara will look to have a bigger overall game next week against the Buccaneers.

Dak Prescott, Cowboys win defensive battle against the Saints, 13-10.
Prescott was 24/28 for 248 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions, also adding five carries for 22 yards and two fumbles (one lost). The Cowboys were able to get out to a 13-0 lead at the half, and it was all defense after that, as they held New Orleans to season-lows across the board. Dak set the single-game franchise record for consecutive completions (18) in the victory, and Dallas has now won four in a row to take a commanding lead in the NFC East at 7-5. At home again next Sunday with extra time to prepare for the Eagles, Prescott should be considered a quality QB2 option.

Saints offense struggles in Thursday night loss to the Cowboys.
Weird things happen in Thursday night games, but Dallas had a great effort in limiting Drew Brees and company in a 13-10 victory. Brees was 18/28 fro 127 yards, one touchdown, and one interception along with one carry for two yards. From the start of the game, the Saints had back-to-back three-and-outs, and things didn’t appear to be in sync like they normally are—again, the Cowboys did an excellent job. Brees’ touchdown was to Keith Kirkwood on a 30-yard deep ball on a drive that stayed alive because of a roughing-the-punter penalty, and it was the team’s lone touchdown of the night. With a chance to tie or win the game with over two minutes remaining, Brees surprisingly threw an interception as he was off balanced and tried to get the ball to Alvin Kamara, who might have ran a different route than his quarterback expected. Overall, Brees had a lot of pressure on him throughout the night, which affected his play. This was obviously disappointing for fantasy owners in the final week of fantasy regular seasons, future Hall of Famer should bounce back with a big game next week against the Bucs.

Evan Engram (hamstring) did not practice today.
After two straight missed practices, Engram isn’t looking good for Sunday against the Bears. It’s possible he’s ruled out tomorrow.
