Wayne Gallman gets seven touches against the Eagles.

Gallman carried five times for 25 yards and added two receptions for -2 yards in the Giants’ Week 12 loss. Gallman is one of the better backup running backs in the NFL, but he’s not a fantasy option behind Saquon Barkley.

Saquon Barkley scores twice against the Eagles.

Barkley carried 13 times for 101 yards and a touchdown and caught seven passes for 41 yards and a touchdown in the Week 12 loss. The star rookie running back did most of his damage in the first half with 15 touches, but the Giants curiously gave him just five touches in the second half of a very close game. Barkley’s first score came on a quick pass up the middle that he basically walked into the end zone. And the second score was a 51-yard run where he received great blocking and was off to the races for 51 yards. Barkley has five touchdowns in the last two games, and he’s obviously an excellent RB1 next week despite a tough matchup with the Bears.

Eli Manning throws one touchdown in Giants’ loss.

Manning was 26/37 for 297 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in a tough loss to the Eagles. The score was to Saquon Barkley on a quick pass up the middle that Barkley took for six. The interception was a bad play by Eli, as he forced a ball up into double coverage to Odell Beckham Jr. at the end of the first half instead of hitting Barkley on a check-down for at least ten or so yards. This close loss drops the Giants to 3-8 and probably without a realistic chance of winning the NFC East, but Manning has played well enough lately that he might remain the starter for the rest of the season. He’s obviously not a recommended fantasy option in 10- or 12-team leagues.

Antony Auclair catches one pass in Week 12.

Auclair gained eight yards on his lone target against the Niners. He’s not a recommended fantasy option at the moment.

Cameron Brate scores in Buccaneers’ win.

Brate caught three passes for 26 yards and a touchdown against the Niners. The score came in the first quarter on a rollout play in the red zone, where Brate got open running across the back of the end zone. It was a solid start for Brate, who has a nice connection with Jameis Winston, with O.J. Howard (ankle, injured reserve) now out of the lineup. Next week, Brate faces a Panthers team that’s struggled against opposing tight ends, and he’s a solid TE1 option. He is even worth some FLEX consideration if you picked him up and already had one of the top tight ends on your roster.

Chris Godwin catches all four targets in Week 12.

Gordon gained 42 yards on his four receptions against the Buccaneers. The second-year receiver has offered a nice floor in fantasy lineups, but he’s still looking for his first touchdown since Week 6 after he scored in four of the team’s first five games. Godwin isn’t a must-own in fantasy leagues.

Adam Humphries scores in Week 12.

Humphries caught six passes (on six targets) for 54 yards and a touchdown against the Bucs, with the score coming after he made himself available in the deep middle part of the field after a Jameis Winston scramble for 28 yards. Humphries now has four touchdowns over the last four games, and next week he faces a Panthers team he scored twice against a few weeks ago.
