Join now >Matt Breida runs over 100 yards against the Buccaneers.
Breida carried 14 times for 106 yards and caught three passes for 34 yards in San Francisco’s Week 12 loss. As the stats indicate, it was another very good performance by Breida, who has rushed for over 100 yards three times this season. The only downside to the game was that he wasn’t able to punch in a goal-line carry as the Bucs made a goal-line stand. Next week, Breida gets a matchup against a Seahawks team that hasn’t been great against opposing running backs this season.

Vance McDonald (hip) has returned for the Steelers.
Thankfully McDonald’s hip injury isn’t too serious and he’s back in there at the end of the third quarter in a tie game in Denver.

Nick Mullens throws two interceptions in Niners’ loss.
Mullens was 18/32 for 221 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions against the Buccaneers. The score was to Dante Pettis in the red zone, and both interceptions came late in the game with Mullens attempting to lead a comeback in a game his team scored just nine points. We wouldn’t count out C.J. Beathard getting time as the starter at some point, but Mullens isn’t a recommended fantasy option next week against Seattle either way.

Vance McDonald (hip) is questionable to return against the Broncos.
It’s unclear when McDonald was injured, but he’s in the locker room getting checked out. We’ll update you as more information becomes available on the big tight end’s status.

Melvin Gordon has a grade 2 MCL sprain, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport says Gordon is out “the next few weeks” but could be back before the regular season is over, so it sounds like he could be back Week 16 or 17 for the Chargers. Ideally the knee injury would’ve knocked Gordon out only a game or two, but the good news is his season is not over—especially with the Chargers almost certainly headed for the postseason. Fantasy owners should obviously hold on to Gordon and hope to get him back as an elite RB1 in the fantasy playoffs. Austin Ekeler is immediately a strong fantasy option in Gordon’s absence and should be picked up in any league he’s available in.

Melvin Gordon leaves game with apparent leg injury.
Gordon just took a pitch on a reverse and immediately took a hit to the right knee/ankle. He stayed down and was holding his knee area, but hopefully the injury isn’t too bad. Remember, Gordon entered the game with both knee and hamstring injuries. He already has two touchdowns today, but his afternoon might be over with the Chargers in control against the Cardinals. We’ll update you as more information becomes available.

Danny Amendola has returned for the Dolphins.
Amendola warmed up on the sideline and has returned to the game after a bit, which is great to see. He might not be 100% despite returning, though.
