George Kittle (calf) is doubtful for Week 5.

Kittle is likely going to rest this week and then have the Week 6 bye to hopefully get to full strength, so this could turn out to be good news for fantasy owners in the long run. With Trey Lance making his first career start, San Francisco will have a run-heavy attack with most of the passes funneling to Deebo Samuel.

Jimmy Garoppolo (calf) is out for Week 5.

Garoppolo was going to test his calf today and see if he could throw without limitation, but it obviously did not go as he and the team had hoped. Now, third overall pick Trey Lance will make his first career start in an NFC West matchup with the Cardinals. The hope is that Jimmy G doesn’t miss much more time with the calf issue.

Courtland Sutton (ankle) is officially questionable for Week 5.

Sutton was added to the injury report after he was injured in practice, but hopefully it’s just a minor issue and he can play on Sunday. The big receiver’s status will be set by 11:30 AM ET on Sunday.

James Washington (groin) has been ruled out for Week 5.

Washington likely suffered the injury at practice after not having a designation to start the week, but he’s out either way. Pittsburgh will at least have all three of Diontae Johnson, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Chase Claypool on Sunday.

Chase Claypool is off the injury report for Week 5.

Claypool was able to practice fully to close out the week, so he’s good to go against the Broncos as Pittsburgh hopes to get their offense on track. Consider the big-play threat an upside FLEX, especially with James Washington (groin) out.

Joe Mixon (ankle) is officially questionable for Week 5.

The Bengals say they will test Mixon out tomorrow to see if he can play on Sunday. Expect clarity on the star running back’s status by Sunday morning (hopefully before the London game at 9:30 AM ET if you are between Mixon and someone from there). Mixon’s status will be official by 11:30 AM ET on Sunday.

T.J. Hockenson (knee) is officially questionable for Sunday.

Hockenson admitted that he’s not 100% but that you never really are, and it sounds like he will play against the Vikings for Week 5. Hockenson’s status will be official by 11:30 AM ET on Sunday.
