Join now >Sony Michel (knee) is listed as doubtful for Week 8.
Michel was able to get in a limited practice today, which is a big positive for his status moving forward, but he’s likely out for Monday night against the Bills. Check back in Monday night, but expect James White and Kenjon Barner to lead New England’s backfield this week.

Rob Gronkowski (ankle/back) is officially listed as questionable for Week 8.
Gronkowski was limited in practice all week, and there’s optimism about him playing against the Bills on Monday night. However, there’s a chance the back issues flare back up, which would put fantasy owners in a predicament. Charles Clay would be the best fantasy option at tight end if Gronkowski is out.

LeSean McCoy (concussion) is officially questionable for Week 8.
McCoy remains in concussion protocol, as he was again limited in today’s practice. Now it just comes to whether McCoy can gain clearance before Monday night’s matchup with the Patriots. Even if McCoy is active, he’d be just a FLEX option this week against a Patriots defense that is likely to focus on taking him away and forcing Buffalo’s passing game to beat them.

Jeremy Maclin will not play this season.
NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo says Maclin is undergoing a procedure on his hamstring/glute, which has kept him from working out for teams. It’s been a surprise the highly productive veteran receiver hadn’t received more interested throughout the offseason and summer, but this explains why he still doesn’t have a team in 2018. Garafolo says Maclin is expected to be ready for 2019. The former Eagle, Chief, and Raven will be just 31 this May, so he should have plenty left in the tank to resume his career.

Cooper Kupp (knee) is doubtful for Week 8.
Rams head coach Sean McVay already said Kupp was unlikely to play this Sunday against the Packers, and this indicates it’d take some major progress over the next two days for the second-year receiver to suit up. Expect Kupp to be ruled out when the actives and inactives are released Sunday afternoon.

Sony Michel (knee) did not practice today.
Michel is likely to miss Monday night’s game against Buffalo, and the team might rule him out tomorrow when the official Week 8 game statuses are released. James White and Kenjon Barner are likely to lead New England’s backfield this week.
10/26/18 - 04:21 PM ET
Rob Gronkowski (ankle/back) remains limited in practice.
Gronkowski is likely to remain limited tomorrow before being listed as questionable on the Week 8 injury report. However, two straight practices are a good sign, and there seems to be optimism about Gronkowski being able to play on Monday night. Check back in tomorrow for Gronk’s official game status.
