Join now >Giovani Bernard (knee) has been ruled out for Week 8.
Bernard remain week-to-week with his knee injury, so Joe Mixon will handle nearly all the work in Cincinnati’s backfield against the Buccaneers. Rookie Mark Walton will mix in behind Mixon.

John Ross (groin) has been ruled out for Week 8.
Ross is week-to-week with his groin injury, so he was expected to miss this game. The Bengals have a bye next week, so perhaps that’ll give the second-year receiver enough time to be ready for their next game in Week 10 against the Saints.

Will Fuller tore his ACL and is out for the season.
This was the fear early this morning after last night’s game, and Texans head coach Bill O’Brien just confirmed that it is indeed a torn ACL. You have to feel for the third-year receiver, as he’s battled injuries throughout his career and is hit again with a big injury; and you have to admire the toughness Fuller showed by walking off the field in good spirits. This is a tough blow for the Texans, who lose a great field-stretcher that has an excellent connection with quarterback Deshaun Watson; DeAndre Hopkins is likely to become even more of a target-hog than he already is. Fuller’s season ends with 32 receptions for 503 yards and four touchdowns in seven games, as he was well on his way to his first career 1,000-yard season if he stayed healthy. Fuller should be 100% for the start of next season, but his progress will be watched closely throughout the offseason. We wish him luck on his recovery.

Leonard Fournette has been ruled out for Week 8.
This was basically just a formality, as no one expected Fournette to play this Sunday against the Eagles in London. New acquisition Carlos Hyde could get a good number of touches in a game where the Jaguars are going to want to set the tone, and T.J. Yeldon is also likely to remain heavily involved in the game plan. Fournette might have a shot to play in Week 10 when the Jaguars return from their bye week.

Will Fuller is thought to have a torn ACL, according to multiple reports.
The news was first reported by John McClain of the Houston Chronicle. There will be an MRI today to see the extent of the injury for Fuller, but it doesn’t sound good. Hopefully the MRI leads to good news, but we’ll update you when more information becomes available.

Nick O’Leary didn’t catch a pass in Thursday night’s loss to the Texans.
O’Leary had come on over the past two weeks, but he wasn’t targeted against Houston. The Florida State product won’t be a recommended fantasy option against the Jets in Week 9.

Mike Gesicki catches four passes in Dolphins’ loss.
Gesicki gained 14 yards on his four receptions against the Texans, as he caught underneath passes and took some big hits in the Week 8 loss. The rookie tight end was also targeted on a pass deep down the field, but it was out of reach. Gesicki is on pace for 32 receptions and 292 yards this season, so he’s not a highly-recommended fantasy option to start the season half of the season. He’s someone to keep an eye on, though.
