Phillip Lindsay handles ten touches in loss to the Rams.

Lindsay rushed four times for 18 yards, also adding six receptions for 48 yards in a 23-20 defeat. The undrafted dual-threat out of Colorado continues to split work in the backfield with fellow rookie rookie Royce Freeman, which limits the upside and lowers the floor of both. Right now, it seems the coaching staff has a preference for Linsday, but both are FLEX options heading into a winnable TNF matchup against the Cardinals.

Royce Freeman handles nine carries in loss to the Rams.

Freeman rushed nine times for a team-high 22 yards in a 23-20 defeat at home. The rookie didn’t have much running room on his limited touches, but Denver had a prime opportunity to attack the weak spot of LA’s defense in a cold-weather game, and they instead decided to air it out 40+ times. Freeman gets the league-worst run defense of the Cardinals on Thursday night, but it will be difficult to trust that the Broncos will feed him. Consider the power back a decent FLEX option.

Cole Beasley scores twice against the Jaguars.

Beasley was getting open with ease all game against Jacksonville, catching nine passes (on 11 targets) for 101 yards and two touchdowns. He was the only Cowboy with over two reception in the game, and he was also the only Cowboy with over five targets. This was a strong showing after Beasley was held to one catch against the Texans last week, and he’ll look to keep it going in Week 7 against the Redskins.

Rod Smith gets five carries in Week 6.

Smith couldn’t find much room to run against the Jaguars, gaining just four yards on his five attempts. Smith remains just a handcuff to Ezekiel Elliott for fantasy purposes.

Josh Reynolds catches one pass in win over the Broncos.

It went for negative-two yards. Reynolds could be in for an extended role if Cooper Kupp (knee) misses time despite returning after being carted off on Sunday, so he’s worth picking up in all leagues depending on Kupp’s status. The Rams take on the Niners next week.

Ezekiel Elliott scores against the Jaguars.

The Cowboys played an excellent game against Jacksonville, and Elliott ran the ball well in the Week 6 win, carrying 24 times for 106 yards and a touchdown while also adding one reception for 11 yards. The score was a 15-yarder in the fourth quarter, putting emphasis on the 40-7 blowout victory. Elliott will remain an excellent RB1 in Week 7 against Washington.
