Davante Adams (calf) and Randall Cobb (hamstring) are also not practicing today, so rookie Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Equanimeous St. Brown, and J’Mon Moore will all handle most of the first-team work. Hopefully Allison is feeling better and can get cleared soon. Valdes-Scantling is the recommended fantasy pickup if you’re targeting one of Green Bay’s rookie receivers for your roster.

Randall Cobb (hamstring) is working with the rehab group today.
Cobb did the same yesterday, and it sounds like the Packers might be without him on Sunday. We’ll update you with Cobb’s official game status when it’s released tomorrow, but there’s a chance he’s ruled out ahead of the weekend.

Davante Adams (calf) is working with the rehab group in practice today.
In other words, he will not be a practice participant. The calf injury Adams is dealing with was sustained during practice yesterday, so it’s unclear the severity and whether it will impact his Week 5 status. Hopefully Adams is at least listed as questionable when the official injury report for the game is released tomorrow.

Broncos head coach Vance Joseph says Royce Freeman “needs more opportunities.”
Freeman received just one carry in the fourth quarter of Monday night’s loss to the Chiefs, and it sounds like that will change if the Broncos get a lead on Sunday against the Jets. Through four games, Freeman has just 44 carries and has not exceeding 15 attempts in a game despite averaging 5.0 yards per carry. Don’t be surprised if the former Oregon star gets a heavy workload in Week 5, making him a stronger RB2/FLEX option in fantasy lineups.

John Ross (groin) was limited in practice.
Ross was in discomfort after his long touchdown in Sunday’s win over the Falcons, but he continued to play through it, indicating he’ll continue to do so this weekend against the Dolphins. Check back in for Mixon’s practice status tomorrow and Friday, though.
10/3/18 - 09:22 PM ET
Giovani Bernard (knee) was limited in today’s practice.
Bernard is thought to be fine, but we’ll keep track of this. Joe Mixon (knee) is expected back in the lineup, so there’s a chance the team takes things slow with Bernard.
10/3/18 - 09:21 PM ET
Joe Mixon (knee) was officially limited in practice.
There is a lot of optimism around Mixon’s status for this week against the Dolphins, and a limited Wednesday practice is a good start. We’ll continue to update you with Mixon’s practice status tomorrow and Friday.
