Nyheim Hines (22 touches) started the game and received most of the work in Indy’s backfield, but Wilkins mixed in and ran the ball well with his opportunities, carrying six times for 39 yards while adding two receptions for nine yards. The rookie did lose a fumble, though, as veteran safety Devin McCourty stood him up and stripped the ball from him. Wilkins faces the Jets next week and is not a highly-recommended fantasy option even if Marlon Mack (hamstring) remains out.

Nyheim Hines leads Colts backfield in Week 5.
With Marlon Mack (hamstring) out again, Hines started the game and led the team’s backfield with 15 carries for 45 yards and seven receptions for 45 yards. Hines also seemed to take blame on the sideline for Andrew Luck’s first interception, as he apparently wasn’t ready for a pass coming his way after Luck was pressured. Jordan Wilkins just mixed in behind Hines, receiving eight touches. If Mack remains out, Hines will be a starting option in Week 6 fantasy lineups, but he’ll be a PPR option regardless of Mack’s status.

Andrew Luck throws 59 times in Colts’ loss.
In a game in which the Colts had to keep up with the Patriots in Foxboro, Luck had another heavy workload after just throwing a career-high 62 passes four days ago. Luck was 38/59 for 365 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions in the loss, and it would’ve been a bigger night if not for the struggles of his receivers, who dropped several passes throughout the night. Luck’s first interception was on a pass where Nyheim Hines seemed to not be expecting the ball; and the second interception was on a drop by Zach Pascal that popped into the air. Obviously, 121 throws in a five-day span is a good sign for Luck’s shoulder, and he is seemingly well past the issues that caused him to miss all of last season. Hopefully T.Y. Hilton is back for Indy next week, but Luck will be a QB1 option in fantasy lineups against the Jets either way.

Chris Carson (hip) was limited in today’s practice.
Carson didn’t practice yesterday, so this is a good step in the right direction. He’s expected to return, but he was also expected to play last week and did not, so we’ll keep a close eye on the injury report when it’s released tomorrow.
10/4/18 - 07:29 PM ET
Greg Olsen (foot) returned to practice.
Olsen is making an extremely quick recovery from a re-fracture of his foot suffered in Week 1, and he’s pushing to return to the lineup soon. It won’t be this week against the Giants, but a Week 6 return against the Redskins is a very real possibility, in which case Olsen would only have missed three games with the injury. We’ll continue to track the veteran tight ends status leading up to next week’s matchup with Washington.
10/4/18 - 06:38 PM ET
Marquise Goodwin (hamstring, quad) was limited in today’s practice.
Goodwin was a non-participant in yesterday’s practice, so this is a good step in the right direction. He’s likely headed for a questionable designation tomorrow when the official injury report for the game is released.
10/4/18 - 07:22 PM ET
Matt Breida (shoulder) remains limited in practice.
Expect Breida to be listed as questionable tomorrow when the official injury report for the game is released, but we expect he’ll be ready to go on Sunday.
