Gordon was officially listed as questionable for tonight’s game, but there was little doubt he would be active after making his team debut last Sunday. Consider Gordon a high-upside FLEX option with risk for Week 5.

Rob Gronkowski (ankle) is officially active for Week 5.
After getting in a limited practice yesterday, the thought has been that Gronkowski would be ready to go for tonight against the Colts. There is the chance that Gronk is used as more of a decoy at less than 100%, but we consider him an elite TE1 as usual. The return of Julian Edelman could help some take some of the double-coverage away from Gronkowski, and overall Tom Brady has a near-full arsenal (aside from Rex Burkhead) around him at the skill positions.

Travis Benjamin (foot) is expected to miss two-to-three weeks, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Benjamin is in a cast, so this isn’t a surprise. Rapoport says the hope is that Benjamin will be back for Week 7 against the Titans, but it sounds like he should be ready to go in Week 9 after the team’s bye if not. Benjamin has already missed two games this season, and it’ll be Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and Tyrell Williams taking most of the snaps at receiver while he remains out.

Sammy Watkins (hamstring) remains limited in practice.
Watkins’ status remains up in the air as the weekend approaches. Expect him to be listed as questionable tomorrow, and he could be a game-time call on Sunday. We’ll update you with his official game status when it is released.

The Patriots have released Kenjon Barner.
New England officially activated Julian Edelman to the active roster ahead of tonight’s game, and the release of Barner is a corresponding move. This is a bit of a surprise, as it leaves Sony Michel, James White, and fullback James Develin as the only active running backs on the roster. Expect a heavy dose of Michel and White with Develin mixing in tonight. Barner might land back with the Patriots at some point.

The Patriots have officially activated Julian Edelman to the active roster.
Edelman is back and ready to play tonight against the Colts, and he’s immediately at least a WR2/FLEX option in both standard and PPR leagues. Edelman’s return is also a boost for Tom Brady and the offense in general, as the veteran receiver should take pressure off of everyone else. We’ll get out first look at Edelman, who is coming off a torn ACL from last summer, in just a few hours.

John Ross (groin) did not practice today.
After a limited practice sessions yesterday, Ross is trending in the wrong direction for Week 5. He’s looking like questionable at best when the official injury designations for the game are released tomorrow.
